Ste Colombe Landscapes

These paintings are informed by my artist residency in France April 2006.

Plein Air Landscapes

Gallery of outdoor paintings.

Horizons

I've removed the detail to paint these subdued landscapes.

Dream Landscapes

This series is a combination of digital and traditional techniques. Although they have photographic qualities, they clearly are painted.

Natural Beauty
A series of contemporary landscapes, more realistic than my usual style.

Sky Squares
I love the contrast between the fluffy skies and the rigid square grid overlay. Acrylic on paper, 24" Sq.

 Arizona Landscape

This triptych measures 6' x 9' overall. It's a residential commission in Scottsdale, Arizona. They wanted a desert scene that encompassed the range of landscape from Sedona to Phoenix.

Texas

From time to time I get requests for Dallas skylines and Texas landscapes. This one is the most traditional of the collection.
16 x 24 acrylic on paper

The Palms

Tropical and decorative, this series features palm trees in many settings.
